When King Rama the Fifth bestowed land for the first racecourse, which was the birth of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club. The objective of His Majesty and the Club was to introduce and promote the quality of horse racing and breeding in Thailand while providing sporting facilities of international standards for Thais and expatriates. Below is information on how to contact the racing staff and the current racing schedule.
Racing is usually held at the Royal Bangkok Sports Club on two Sundays per month. Occasionally races are held on a Saturday, so please check our Racing Schedule regularly.
A number of betting options are available to the race-goer. This includes the recently introduced combination betting of Trifecta and Quinella.
Public Grandstands allow the general public to attend race days and enjoy this fascinating spectacle. In addition, we also cater for corporate and group parties. Please contact the Racing Department for further details on how we can cater for your very own race day function.
